A filly sired by Feature Mr Jess filly and consigned by Jumonville Farms of Vinton, Louisiana, brought $92,000 as the high seller during the second annual Eclipse Select Yearling Sales on August 8, at Lone Star Park, Grand Prairie, Texas.

Thisgirlisafeature, out of The Louisiana Girl, is a three-quarter sister to champion Jess Louisiana Blue ($170,682) and a half-sister to three other stakes winners.

Sally Box of New Mexico, who bought the filly, also purchased a Shazoom filly for $15,500. The sale saw 139 head from a catalog of 176 sell for $1,546,600 with an average of $11,127.

Hustled, the second highest seller at $70,000, purchased by Gianni Franco Sarnaja of Brazil. is a Feature Mr Jess filly out of Kansas Futurity winner Okeydokey Baby. Okeydokey Baby, a daughter of the Thoroughbred stallion Zevi, has produced 10 money earners, including race champion Okey Dokey Dale, a leading sire in 2006. Samaja, was the second leading buyer with two purchases totaling $82,500.

JEH Stallion Station was the sale’s leading consignor with 28 head selling for $303,000. Jumonville Farms sold seven head for $166,000; Bobby Cox sold 10 head for $77,500; and Joe Kirk Fulton, sold four for $77,000.
