For three consecutive days, Western Bloodstock’s 2025 NCHA Futurity Preferred Breeders Sale has surpassed previous records. Session III, on Friday, December 5th was no exception, with an average of $49,413, and a gross of over $4.8 million on 98 horses sold and 83% completed sales.
In addition, for all sessions of the 2025 NCHA Futurity Sales 93 horses sold for $100,000 or more, already surpassing last year’s total of 84.
Lastingg Legacy, consigned by her breeder, Billy Wolf,Whitesboro, TX, and purchased for $300,000 by Victoria Johnson, Houston, TX, was Sessions III’s high-seller. The bay yearling Dual Reyish daughter is out of Cat O Connor LTE $70,071, by High Brow Cat. A leading dam of 19 earners of$1,056,159, Cat O Connor’s offspring include Suen You Will See LTE $191,141, an NCHA Open Futurity and Super Stakes finalist and the dam, herself, of NCHA major events Open finalists.
This Girl, a yearling sorrel filly by Rollz Royce, was consigned by her breeder Stella Swanson, of Midland, TX, and purchased for $220,000 by Gabe Hutching, Alvarado, TX. Out of Magic Metallic LTE $164,052, by Metallic Cat, This Girl is a half sister to NCHA Futurity Open finalist and NCHA Derby Open Reserve Champion Wood She B Magic LTE $385,803.
This Girl’s second dam, Sweet Abra LTE $120,151, is a leading producer of 27 earners of over $3.01 million, including 12 with earnings of $100,000 or more.
Cutie Patoodie, by Stevie Rey Von, brought $180,000, Session III’s third-highest price. Consigned by Solo Select Horses LLC, Agent for Via Oil & Ranch, the sorrel yearling filly was purchased by Larry Brammer, Gainesville, TX. Out of Peptotoodie LTE $170,232, by Peptotime, Cutie Patoodie is half-sister to earners of $823,074, including four earners of $100,000 or more.
