Brody Magby of Wilburton, Oklahoma, won every round of the NYCHA Junior Youth World Finals to earn the show title and the Reserve Championship for the year.

Riding SS Blacks Lil Kitty, Julie Jarma’s seasoned mare by Blue Bayou Boon out of Show Biz Kitty, Magby marked 222, 224, 225 and a cumulative 671 to win a perfect 16 points at the show. His 80 points for the year landed him next to World Champion Will Bushaw who tallied 106 points.

Magby, who has been a perennial finalist in the NYCHA Scholarship Cuttings at the Summer Spectacular, has career earnings of more than $9,000.

There was a three-way tie for second with 6 points at the World Finals. Sharing the honor were Charles Cody Gann riding Hevvy Metal, Riley Hope Farris riding Play Purr View RG, and Makenzie Cowan riding Peaceful EZ Feelin.

World Champion Will Bushaw, who brought an unbeatable lead into the World Finals, showed Velvets Revolver, by WR This Cats Smart. He also rode Smooth Sailing Cat on his way to the World Championship.
