Amanda Morris marked 220 Wednesday in the third round of the Senior division of the Grace Ranch NCHA Youth World Finals to win the show championship. She tied for second with Ryan Howell in the third round, behind go-round winner Lane Wood, who marked 220.5 on Pepto Boom.

Morris rode Quejanaisabella to scores of 224, 214.5 and 220 for the show championship.

Rieta Dufurrena, who brought an unbeatable lead into the World Finals, won the 2012 Senior Youth World Championship.

Bred by Greg Coalson, 7-year-old Quejanaisabella is by Quejanaisalena out of Nip And Play, and has earned over $23,000. The mare is owned by John McClaren and trained by Amanda’s father, Craig Morris, who was a Super Stakes Classic finalist with her last year.
