Western Bloodstock is accepting consignments for the 2011 NCHA Super Stakes Sale, which returns to its traditional calendar slot – preceding the XTO Energy NCHA Super Stakes Open and Non-Pro Finals, on Saturday, April 16, the last day of the 21-day show.

In 2010, a change in the NCHA Super Stakes calendar scheduled the Super Stakes Open Finals for the tenth day of the show. The change created a dilemna for Western Bloodstock, which had always before held the Super Stakes Sale in conjunction with the Open Finals, on the last day of the show.

“The last day, before the Open Finals, always worked well for the sale, which has traditionally been one of our best for selling trained cutting horses,” said Western Bloodstock announcer Jim Ware. “Last year threw us a curve, but we are looking forward to great sale this year, on the heels of a successful 2010 NCHA Futurity Sale.
