This year’s NCHA Super Stakes Sale, held on April 2 and 3 at Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, features a large consignment of finished cutting horses, as well as 3-year-old futurity prospects, 2-year-olds and broodmares.

“We are optimistic about the sale offering and believe the results will reflect the quality of the individuals entered,” said Milt Bradford of Western Bloodstock, the auction company that produces three annual sales in conjunction with the NCHA Triple Crown events, including the NCHA Futurity Sales.

“The Super Stakes Sale has always been an excellent venue for trained cutting horses,” Bradford added.  The sale schedule has been extended to a second day this year to accommodate a greater number of consignments, including a featured group of 3-year-old futurity prospects from Bar H Ranche, the #2 all-time leading breeder of cutting horses, and a select group of finished cutting horses from Darren Blanton’s Star Double B Ranch.

The Bar H Ranche horses have all been trained by Paul Hansma, ranked #5 among  all-time leading cutting horse trainers. The Star Double B Ranch horses have all been trained by Jason Clark, who has shown most of them as finalists in major limited age events.

The sale begins on Friday, April 2 at 12:00 with broodmares, stallions and yearlings, followed by trained cutting horses, 3-year-olds and 2-year-olds. Saturday’s sessions, beginning at 9:00 a.m., features the Bar H Ranche and Star Double B Ranche consignments, followed by other trained cutters, along with 3 and 2-year-olds.
