Purchased by Jamie Mitchell, Miller, Mo., the Hes A Peptospoonful daughter is dam of six NCHA money earners, including Shes Precious Metal LTE $61,795, by Metallic Cat. Spoonful Of Seahorse sold bred, on May 24, 2019, to Metallic Cat, and with an embryo, conceived February 25, 2019, to Metallic Rebel.
Yearling fillies also inspired brisk bidding on Wednesday, including My Sherona, who was consigned by Rose Valley Ranch and sold for $61,000, to Victoria Johnson, Houston, Tex. Sired by Once In A Blu Boon and out of Holly Is Smooth LTE $230,752, by Smooth As A Cat, My Sherona is a three-quarter sister to Yall Count Me In LTE $103,171 and Hesa Money Maker LTE $83,948, both sired by Im Countin Checks. My Sherona is also a three-quarter sister to 3-year-old A Star Is Borne LTE $30,100, the 2019 Brazos Bash and Cotton Stakes Futurity Open Champion.
Purdy Classy, consigned by Old Tascosa, brought $55,000 from Bo Warren, Millsap, Tex. Born on January 12, 2018, Purdy Classy is by Metallic Cat and out of Purdy Aristocrat LTE $102,436, dam of earners of $707,948, including Cat Of Monte Cristo LTE $122,169, by High Brow Cat.
The black yearling Smooth Talkin Style filly Two Smooth Shoes sold for $52,000 to Kathleen Moore, Madill, Okla. Consigned by the Lannie L. Mecom Estate, the filly is out of the High Brow Cat daughter Miss Woody Two Shoes LTE $143,635, dam of 11 money earners, including Lou Lou Louise LTE $138,799, and Miss Peptonstilettos LTE $87,534, the dam of five money earners, including Hott Heels LTE $158,487.
