Amelia Servin, Queensland, Australia, received a trip to the NCHA Futurity in Fort Worth, as the winner of an Australian competition last September. Servin, who ranked fourth this year in NCHA Australia’s Open Non Pro division, and has won numerous Australian championships, now has a U.S. trophy to add to her collection.

On Monday, Dec. 9, Servin won the 2019 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Limited championship with 215 points on Cinca De Metallica, by Metallic Cat. Earlier on Monday, Servin had earned 217.5, the third highest score from the Non-Pro Limited Semi-Finals, which was won by Ryan Packard, with 218.5 points on Kual Kat, by High Brow Cat.

Bred by David Hartman, Cinca De Metallica is out of the Dual Rey daughter Cinca De Maya LTE $106,341, the dam of five NCHA money earners, including Cinca Im Hot LTE $259,169, owned by Rocking P Ranch. Cinca De Maya, a full sister to Lil Rattler LTE $338,873 and Button Down Supercat LTE $285,048, is out of NCHA Futurity winner Highbrow Supercat LTE $364,690, a leading producer of earners of more than $1.3 million.

Alexa Dahl, the NCHA earner of $147,972, showed Playsomethingsmooth LTE $67,044, by Smooth As A Cat, to place in the 2018 NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro, as well as in the 2019 Super Stakes Classic. Her 2019 NCHA Futurity horse, Smoothie Lou Who, is half-sister to DMAC Kodiak LTE $57,827, out of Reyal Money, a half-sister, by Dual Rey, to High Brow Jackson LTE $245,346 and Lil Jackson Cat LTE $118,714.

Jennifer Rector, the NCHA earner of $98,301, was a 2015 NCHA Futurity Amateur and Unlimited Amateur finalist on Smooth Reyn LTE $100,264, a Smooth As A Cat daughter, who also carried Rector as a finalist in seven other major events. Smooth Bettin Annie, Rector’s 2019 NCHA Futurity mount, out of Bet On Houston LTE $42,089, is a three-quarter sister to Bet On A Cat LTE $414,398.

Maura Costa, the NCHA earner of $6,500, claimed her first major event check when she placed ninth in the 2019 Cattlemen’s Non-Pro Derby, on Bill Oreylly. Moe Beta, Costa’s NCHA Futurity mount and Bill Oreylly LTE $13,214, by Dual Rey, are both out of Sweet Smoke Lena LTE $37,314, by Sweet Little Pepto.
