Moms Stylish Player, by Lizzys Gotta Player, open champion of the 2016 NCHA Super Stakes and NCHA Derby, staked another major claim with a 228-point win on Saturday, February 11, in the 2017 Bonanza 5/6-Year-Old Cutting, Weatherford, Tex., under Kenny Platt.

Peeptos Cat, by Cat Ichi, scored 223 points for the reserve championship with Matt Gaines, while Metallic Rebel, by Metallic Cat; CR Gotcha Covered, by Dualin Boon; and Play Miss Boonsmal, by Peptoboonsmal, tied with the third highest score of 221 points under Beau Galyean, Tarin Rice and Eddie Flynn, respectively.

Low-key in the first go-round with 217 points, Moms Stylish Player came back to score 225 points and tie Reyzin The Cash LTE $256,682, by Dual Rey, and Play Miss Boonsmal LTE $36,310, for high score of the second round.

Owned by Robert Tregemba, of Castle Rock, Colo., 5-year-old gelding Moms Stylish Player had NCHA lifetime earnings of $217,448 coming into the Bonanza, where the 2016 5/6-year-old open champion, Button Down Supercat, earned $19,338.
