NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Famer Lauren Middleton of Weatherford, Texas, marked 220 on Sweet Reyvenge, by Reys Dual Badger, Wednesday to win the $15,000 Novice Non-Pro finals at the 6666 Ranch NCHA Eastern National Championships in Jackson, Mississippi on Wednesday.

Page Bowman took the reserve title with a 217 on Big Daddys CD, by High Brow CD.

It was Middleton’s seventh win at the Eastern Nationals. She’s a three-time Non-Pro champ with Widows Freckles (2002), and Cees Little Poo (2010 and 2015). She’s also won the $15,000 Novice Non-Pro three times before, with Cees Little Poo (2010), Swoopn Indian (2013) and Spoonful Of Tears (2014).

Sweet Reyvenge is an 8-year-old gelding bred by Bobby and Francie Butler by Reys Dual Badger out of Sweet Camille, by Chicks Achy Braky. He was an Open limited age finalist multiple times with Casey Morris and Sam Shepard, and has now earned more than $75,000.
