Friday, October 18, the first day of the 2019 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity Sale, was exceptionally strong, with 85% completed sales from a total of 107 horses.

Nurseware, consigned by Wagonhound Land & Livestock and purchased by Susan Steward, Las Vegas, Nev., was the day’s high-seller and the high-selling mare at $55,000. The 12-year-old Dual Rey daughter, with a foal in utero by WR This Cats Smart, is the dam of 6-year-old Smart Lookin Nurse LTE $97,290 and 4-year-old Wares The Nurse LTE $23,829, full siblings sired by WR This Cats Smart.

Cats Shiney Pistols, the day’s high-selling performance horse brought $50,000 from Don Murphy, Marietta, Okla. The 6-year-old stallion, sired by Smooth As A Cat and in training with Todd Bergen, is the earner of $49,318 and was consigned by Roxanne Koepsell.

Hes Wright On, earner of $172,067 and a leading NRCHA sire in 2015 and 2016, including Plain Wright LTE $90,098, NRCHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion, brought $50,000, as the day’s high-selling stallion. Consigned by Hes Wright On Partnership, the 16-year-old son of Lenas Wright On brought $50,000 from Alvin Fults, Amarillo, Tex.

Please Me One Time, consigned by Jeremy Barwick and purchased by Ty Smith, Edmund, Okla., was the high-selling yearling filly at $31,000. The black daughter of One Time Pepto is out of ARC Cat Her Please LTE $127,467, 2008 NCHA Open Classic Challenge Reserve Champion and 2007 NCHA Derby Open finalist. Please Me One Time sold eligible for the NRCHA Stakes and nominated for the NCHA Super Stakes.
