Dis Cats Dynamite and Stylish Look Bella were both shown by Morgan Cromer, in the third set of the day, and Phil Hanson rode Cattomatic.

Six-year-old Metallic Mistress, by Metallic Cat, made her premiere as a 2015 NCHA Futurity Open finalist (24th place) under Grant Setnicka. Owned by Texas Holy Cow Performance Horses, Weatherford, Tex., Metallic Mistress and Matt Miller claimed the reserve championship of the Ike Hamilton Futurity Classic and has NCHA earnings of $149,526.

Five-year-old gelding CR WRS Royal Tee, by WR This Cats Smart, is owned by Rocking P Ranch, Fort Worth, Tex., who purchased him at the 2015 Center Ranch Sale. Earlier this year, CR WRS Royal Tee, the career earner of $79,378, and Rocking P Ranch trainer Jesse Lennox scored 221 points to tie with Copperish and Lloyd Cox for the championship of the Abilene Spectacular Classic. Cox is a leading rider going into the second go-round with 221 points earned Thursday on 2016 NCHA Futurity champion Second Spot.

Only nine of the 110 horses that qualified with 215.5 points or more for the Classic second go-round scored 220 points or higher, and Morgan Cromer was aboard two of them – Dis Cats Dynamite and Stylish Look Bella. Dis Cats Dynamite is a 6-year-old mare sired by WR This Cats Smart and owned by Brenda Higbee, Redmond, Ore. Higbee claimed the 2017 PCCHA Futurity 5/6 Amateur championship on Dis Cats Dynamite, after Cromer had won both the Idaho Futurity and the El Rancho Futurity with the mare, who has NCHA career earnings of $93,535.

Stylish Look Bella, a 6-year-old daughter of Dual Smart Rey, is owned by Marvin and Paulette Teixeira, Santa Maria, Calif. She has earned money in both NCHA and NRCHA events, in open as well as non-pro and amateur competition, and has combined earnings of $120,194, including $108,580 in NCHA events. At three, she placed fourth in the National Stock Horse Association Futurity Open with Justin Wright, and most recently took first with Cromer in the 2018 Mercuria NCHA World Series Mane Event.

In addition to Dis Cats Dynamite and Stylish Look Bella, Cromer scored 219 points on Friday riding Betchalou, owned by Clarke Butte Ranch, Bend, Ore.

Cattomatic is owned by Kelly Graham, Weatherford, Tex. The 5-year-old High Brow Cat son, earner of $48,684, made his debut as a 2016 NCHA Futurity Open Semi-Finalist with Hanson and this year has been a finalist in the Bonanza Classic Open (7th place) and the Arbuckle Mountain 5/6 Open (10th).
