A memorial service for Jerry Carter will be held March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Covenant Church 8690 Liberty Rd., Cross Roads, Texas. Jerry, 85, was married to Hall of Fame member John Carter, and they would have marked their 67th anniversary on February 26. She was the mother of former NCHA President Punk Carter and Hall of Fame rider Roy Carter.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the National Youth Cutting Horse Association, 260 Bailey Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76107.
