Some of you have asked about my pup Fergus, who I found devouring the Quarter Horse News several weeks ago.

Fergus has moved on to more substantial reading material. He has sampled the Joy of Cooking; savored The Art of Raising a Puppy by the Monks of New Skete; and most recently, was caught digesting a copy of the Wall Street Journal.

Surprisingly, he has shown little interest in the Daily Racing Form. But Skeezix, who is looking forward to picking cattle via the daily webcast of the NCHA Summer Spectacular, July 10-29 at nchacutting.com, keeps him posted on cutting events.

Both Skeezix and Fergus are big “Cat” fans, when it comes to cutting horses.
