Cash Robertson of Farwell, Texas, marked a 221 on Smooth Like Sugar to win the Junior Youth finals at the 6666 Ranch NCHA Eastern National Championships in Jackson, Mississippi, on Sunday. Pittman Todd Turner took the reserve honors with a 219.5 on Hickorys Handy Cat.

Cash also topped the go-round with a 222.

Bred and owned by Lonnie and Barbara Allsup, Smooth Like Sugar is a 7-year-old gelding by Smooth As A Cat out of Sugar N Dulce, a daughter of Horse of the Year Little Badger Dulce. Smooth Like Sugar is a three-quarter brother to 2012 Horse of the Year Kit Kat Sugar.
