Forrest Photography.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Caitlin Patty of Lindale, Texas, 2010 NCHA Rookie of the Year,\u00c2\u00a0topped the <a title=\"2010 NCHA Eastern National Championships\" href=\"http:\/\/stats.sallyharrison.com\/show_results.php?show=NCHA%20EASTERN%20NATIONALS&amp;age=ALL&amp;class=$50,000%20AMATEUR\">$50,000 Amateur<\/a> finals at the NCHA Eastern National Championships, presented by 6666 Ranch, Saturday in Jackson, Mississippi.<\/p>\n<p>Patty, 18, marked 223 on Playboys A Smarty for a 4-point win over Alexis Carissa Stephas. She posted the fifth highest score, 216, behind Page Bowman&#8217;s 221 in Thursday&#8217;s go-round. She drew ninth in the first bunch in the 31-horse finals which paid out more than $42,000.<\/p>\n<p>Playboys A Smarty is an 11-year-old son of Smart Little Lena out of Augusta Classic champion Lenas Playgirl. An NCHA Derby finalist in 2004, Playboys A Smarty&#8217;s earnings will go over $140,000 with his latest win.<\/p>\n<p>Caitlin Patty finished fifth on Playboys A Smarty in the 2010 NCHA World standings in the $50,000 Amateur class.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Stephas of Chattanooga, Tennessee, rode Swing In Time to a 219 for the reserve title.
