Jack and Susan Waggoner, married for 18 years, bred the earners of more than $10 million.

*As a court ordered dispersal, consequent to divorce proceedings between the Waggoners, all horses were sold without reserve and regardless of condition at the time of sale, including six that were off-site with serious medical conditions.

*Total sales of $4,190,900, with an average of $19,385 on the 216 head of on-site horses (excluding a miniature horse), are encouraging predictors, in a recovering economy, of a healthy market for well-bred cutting horses.

While all of the Waggoner sale horses were out of strong dam lines, only 84 of them were by well proven sires, including 57 sired by High Brow Cat. The majority of the horses were sired by young Waggoner-bred stallions with no (or a limited number of) offspring of performance age.

Horses that sold for $50,000 or more:

Aristo Katz – $280,000
2000 mare (Smart Aristocrat x Katz)
Buyer – Jerry & Vicki Durant
Katz Have More Fun – $150,000
2007 mare (Dual Pep x Aristo Katz)
  Buyer – Glade Knight  Â
That Catomine – $127,000
2005 mare (High Brow Cat x That Smarts)
  Buyer – Kristen Galyean
Cats Red Feather – $120,000
1998 stallion (High Brow Cat x Smart Misty Dawn)
  Buyer – Carlos Deleu
Purdy Aristocrat – $108,000
1996 mare (Smart Aristocrat x Purdy Pistol)
  Buyer – Alvin Fults
Big Cat In Cowtown – $90,000
2007 stallion (High Brow Cat x Shady Lil Aristocrat)
  Buyer – Glade Knight
One Smartcat – $58,000
1996 stallion (High Brow Cat x Sweet Lil Lena)
  Buyer – Laura Alpern
Cat T Masterson – $55,000
2001 stallion (High Brow Cat x Pretty Lena Chick)
  Buyer – A.
