She was low to the ground and really stopping hard.<\/p>\n<\/dt>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;We just put the pressure on and let the judges decide. We got lucky and it came out our way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0Dont Look Twice, Third Cutting and LHR Smooth Jamie May, ridden by Phil Hanson, are in a tight race for the coveted title of 2010 NCHA Horse of the Year. LHR Smooth Jamie May, who was reserve champion of the<a href=\"?p=5899\"> Calgary Stampede Open Derby<\/a>, leads both Dont Look Twice and Third Cutting by three points with just one event left on the calendar &#8211; the Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association Futurity, next week in Paso Robles, CA.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0&#8220;We all respect each other and all have great horses,&#8221; said Rapp. &#8220;We all wanted to see each other succeed in Calgary.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0Five-year-old Dont Look Twice, with lifetime earnings of $409,782, was bred by Phil and Mary Ann Rapp and is owned by Louis and Corliss Baldwin&#8217;s Waco Bend Ranch. Third Cutting, also a 5-year-old, is owned by Carl and Shawnea Smith.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0Phil Rapp officially surpassed the $7 million mark &#8211; an NCHA all-time record &#8211; with his Calgary winner&#8217;s payout of $7,224; he came to the event with a career total of $6,999,710.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2\u00a0In other Calgary news, Randy Holman, Big Fork MT, won the <a href=\"?p=5901\">Calgary Stampede Open Futurity<\/a> aboard Pretty Smart Cat, and the Open Derby with Olenas Pepto.
