A group of 25 people comprising racing media, racing officials and AQHA Racing Committee members served on the voting body.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sallyharrison.com\/features\/pix\/2008\/Blues%20Girl%20Too.jpg\" class=\"floatleft\" \/>Blues Girl Too, the richest female in Quarter Horse racing history, was named World Champion, Champion 3-Year-Old, and Champion 3-Year-Old Filly. Trained by Joe Bassett for Lucky Seven Ranch, Blues Girl Too became only the second sprinter to go over the $2 million mark in career earnings, after breaking the long standing 440-yard track record set by the legendary Dash For Cash in the $1 million Champion of Champions, at Los Alamitos Race Course in December.<\/p>\n<p>With her $500,000 Champion of Champions win, the daughter of Corona Cartel, out of  Run The Dash by Sixarun, moved past 1983 World Champion Dashingly&#8217;s record $1,754,323 to become the richest female of all-time and is now $93,981 shy of equaling the all-time earnings record of $2,126,309, held by the two-time World Champion and three-time Champion of Champions winner Refrigerator.<\/p>\n<p>Blues Girl Too was 2006 World Champion 2-year-old and World Champion 2-year-old filly. Her career record stands at eight wins and four seconds from 13 starts.<\/p>\n<p>Heartswideopen, who  won the $2 million 440-yard All American Quarter Horse Futurity in a world record for a female at 440-yards, was named 2007 Champion 2-Year-Old and Champion 2-Year-Old Filly. Sired by Mr Jess Perry out of Dashing Phoebe, by Dash For Cash, Heartswideopen is trained by Carl Draper for La Feliz Montana Ranch LLC.<\/p>\n<p>Other 2007 champions include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Champion 3-Year-Old Colt \u2013 FDD Dynasty (First Down Dash x Dinastia Toll BRZ by Tolltac), trained by Michael W. Joiner for Billy Smith, Pat Guthrie, Vessels Stallion Farm LLC.<\/li>\n<li>Champion 3-Year-Old Gelding \u2013 Little Bit Of Baja (First Down Dash x BCR Pale Moon by Kingdom Key), trained by John Bassett for Vessels Stallion Farm LLC and Los Bustardos.<\/li>\n<li>Champion 2-Year-Old Colt \u2013 Carters Cartel (Corona Cartel x Jumping Tac Flash by Tolltac), trained by Jaime Gomez for Double Bar S Ranch LLC.<\/li>\n<li>Champion 2-Year-Old Gelding \u2013 Illegal Memories (Illegal Runaway x Good Ole Memories by Leaving Memories), trained by  Doug McMullen and Johnie Goodman for Tim Lange and Charlie Forbes.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Aged Horse and Champion Aged Stallion \u2013 Ketel Won (Stoli x Sixy Lady by Streakin Six), trained by Paul Jones for R.D. Hubbard.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Aged Mare \u2013 Blazin Fire ( This Snow Is Royal x Blazin Sin by Easy Crimson), trained by Paul Jones for Dan and Lisa McMahon.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Aged Gelding \u2013 Strawkins (Hawkinson x Shirleys Strawfly by Strawfly Special), trained by Paul Jones for Donald and Peggy Boyle.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Distance Horse \u2013 Snowbound Superstar (Snowbound (TB) x Shania Cash by Oh My Gee Whiz), trained by Paul Jones for Robert F. Pulse.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Broodmare \u2013 Run The Dash (Sixarun x Dashin Rosie by Dash For Cash), dam of Blues Girl Too, owned by Lucky Seven Ranch .<\/li>\n<li>Champion Owner \u2013 Keilani Farms; 2007 Record: 39-11(2)-10(3)-2(1) and earnings of $1,316,577.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Breeder \u2013 MLA International Company (16); 2007 Record: 91-23(5)-15(5)-11(0) and earnings of $1,773,152.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Trainer \u2013 Paul C. Jones; 2007 Record: 1,276-250(41)-219(27)-166(26) and earnings of $6,528,188. Jones, who trained four of the 13 U.S. champions in 2007, broke his previous record for trainer earnings.<\/li>\n<li>Champion Jockey \u2013 G.R.
