Western Bloodstock\u2019s 2025 National Cutting Horse Futurity Sales gained momentum following record results on November 30, in Session I of the 2-Year-Old Sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Session II of the NCHA Futurity Sales 2-Year-Old Sale, on Monday December 1, realized an average of $83,802 on 81 horses, with 22 selling for $100,000 or more, and 7 bringing $200,000 or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carbonated, by Hashtags, topped the day with $775,000 from Cole Davison, Dublin, TX. The blue roan filly, in training with Andy Sherrerd, was consigned by Sherrerd Performance Horses, agent for Randy Vanee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bred by Jamie and Kaci Mitchell, Miller, MO, Carbonated is out of the Peptoboonsmal daughter Miss Priss Pepto LTE $111,241, an NCHA Open limited age event reserve champion and dam of eight money earners, including Faymiss LTE $107,319.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talkin Bad, consigned by Chase and Kadie Hermes, in training with Chase, brought the day\u2019s second-highest-price, $600,000, from Rio Roca Land & Cattle LLC, Dallas, TX. Sired by Smooth Talkin Style, the red roan filly is the first foal out of Metallic Cat daughter Badaboomsmall LTE $167,724, who among other accomplishments was Reserve Champion of the Breeders Invitational Non-Pro Derby, as well as Abilene Spectacular Open Classic Co-Reserve Champion and Non-Pro Reserve Champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maximus Fox, Session II\u2019s top-selling colt and third-highest seller, was consigned by Colter Klemm, agent for Horse Country Arena LLC, and brought $325,000 from Hayden Upton, agent, Weatherford, TX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sired by Metallic Rebel, Maximus Fox is the first foal out of limited age event Open Champion Looks Like Foxie LTE $109,243, by Dual Smart Rey, whose second dam is Peptos Stylish Miss LTE $302,911, by Peptoboonsmal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2025 NCHA Futurity Sales continue on Tuesday, December 2nd with Session III of the 2-Year-Old Sale, and continue through December 6th<\/sup> with Session IV of the Preferred Breeders Sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
