Session II of the 2022 NCHA Futurity Preferred Breeders Sale, on Friday, December 9, proceeded with the brisk bidding and strong sales established on Thursday, in Session I of the Sale, and resulted in an average of $35,818, with 89% of horses offered through the ring sold in Session II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happened In Denver, sired by Metallic Cat, topped Session II at $130,000. The red roan yearling colt, bred by Waco Bend Ranch, was consigned by Gale Force Quarter Horses and sold to Kathleen Moore, Madill, Okla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A half-brother to Dont Stopp Twice LTE $99,722, by Dont Stopp Believin, Happened In Denver is out of the Woody Be Tuff daughter Dontt Happen Twice LTE $91,055, whose first money earner is Dont Stopp Twice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second dam Dont Look Twice LTE $843,096, by High Brow Cat, earned the 2011 NCHA Open Horse of the Year title, was 2012 NCHA Open World Champion, and is also a leading dam of nine NCHA earners of $889,332.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two horses sold for $110,000, the second-highest price in Session II of the NCHA Futurity Preferred Breeders Sale \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Reyhannon and Playing In The Reyn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bred by Kevin and Sydney Knight, and consigned by Brett and Jody McGlothlin, Agent for Crockett Sand and Gravel, Reyhannon (LTE $98,387) is a 2014 red roan Metallic Cat daughter, who placed in finals of both Open and Non-Pro limited age events. Her dam, Reyhanna LTE $148,876, by Dual Rey, has produced six money earners, including Reyhannon\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s three-quarter sister Miss Kitty Russel LTE $143,561, by High Brow Cat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reyhannon was purchased from Session II of the 2022 NCHA Futurity Sale by Jason Parker, Twin Falls, Idaho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Playing In The Reyn, consigned by Ed or Shona Dufurrena, was purchased by Ty Smith, Whitesboro, Tex. A red roan Stevie Rey Von-sired yearling filly, Playing In The Reyn is the first foal out November Reyn LTE $69,915, an Im Countin Checks daughter. Her second dam, Metallic Cat daughter Purple Reyn LTE $364,059, bred, owned and shown by Brandon Dufurrena, was the 2015 NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year and has produced eight money earners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rebels Lou, a yearling daughter of 2017 NCHA Open Horse of the Year Metallic Rebel, sold to Marvin Vanderark, Grandville, MI, for $100,000, Session II\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s third highest price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bred and consigned Barwick\/Galyean, Rebels Lou is out of the Dual Smart Rey daughter Lou Lou Louise LTE $138,635, whose oldest foals are 3-year-olds. Second dam Miss Woody Two Shoes LTE $143,635, by High Brow Cat, is the dam of 14 money earners, including Hit Tha Flo LTE $192,866, a full sister to Lou Lou Louise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
