Spanish Nights, by Metallic Rebel, topped Session II of the Western Bloodstock NCHA Futurity 2-Year-Old Sale at $600,00.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

On Monday, December 6, in Fort Worth, Tex., Session I of the 2021 NCHA Futurity 2-Year-Old Sale<\/a> smashed an all-time record by nearly $25,000, with the sale of 94 head for an average price of $75,043.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, December 7, that record fell to Session II\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s average of $90,646 on 99 head. Additionally, on Tuesday, 26 horses sold for $100,000 or more, with 13 bringing $200,000 or more, while seven commanded $350,000 or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Altogether, the total from both sessions of 193 horses sold (82%) realized an unprecedented average of $83,047, with 43 selling for $100,000 or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spanish Nights, bred and consigned by Russ and Janet Westfall, and in training with Russ Westfall, was Session II\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s high-seller at $600,000. The Metallic Rebel filly, out of CD Royal daughter Lil Bit Reckless LTE $231,124, a Top 10 dam of 2020 cutting horse earners, was purchased by Chantel Murphy, Manning, ND.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soulreyn, consigned by Jody Galyean and started by Galyean, was purchased in Session II by Billy Wolf, Whitesboro, Tex. The Metallic Cat colt is a full brother to the first two foals out of the Dual Rey daughter Goodbye To The Reyn, a three-quarter sister to A Black Widow LTE $104,725, dam of 10 money earners, including No Way In Hal, a 2012 Open NCHA Futurity Finalist and dam of Cardi Bay LTE $74,938.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purrty In Pink, consigned by Rogillio Farms, in training with Zach Rodgers, was purchased by 3G\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Partnership, LLC., Claremore, Okla. The Hashtags filly is a first foal out of Gabourey, an unshown High Brow CD daughter, who is a half-sister to Sigourney Rey LTE $22,785, dam of five money earners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NCHA Futurity Sales continue on Wednesday, December 8 at 10:00 a.m. with the NCHA Futurity Cutting Horse Sales, and is followed at 4:00 p.m. by The Evening Session, featuring Select Yearlings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday will feature the Center Ranch Dispersal Sale, while Friday and Saturday, December 10 and 11, wraps up the 2021 Futurity Sales with Session I and Session II of the Preferred Breeders Sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
