On Wednesday,\nFebruary 19, Galyean and Coureygous topped the Bonanza 4-Year-old Non-Pro Finals\nwith 218 points, while Westfall and I Reckon So scored 217 for the reserve title,\nand Alexa Dahl and Smoothie Lou Who placed third with 214 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the Bonanza Non-Pro win, worth $13,472, Coureygous\nLTE $81,127 also collected $11,049 as Bonanza Open fourth-place finalist under\nWesley Galyean and $3,306 in the Open Novice division. Sired by Dual Rey, Coureygous\nis a full sister to Lil Rattler LTE $338,873, Button Down Supercat LTE\n$285,048, and Cinca De Maya LTE $106,341, among 22 NCHA money earners of over\n$1.4 million out of 2005 NCHA Futurity champion Highbrow Supercat LTE $364,690.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kristen Galyean, Claremore, Okla., is the NCHA Non-Pro Hall\nof Fame earner of $816,924.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I Reckon So LTE $68,634 earned a total of $15,962 under Brandon\nWestfall at the Bonanza, including first-place payout in the Non-Pro Novice and\nNon-Pro Gelding divisions. Bred by Russ and Janet Westfall, Granbury, Tex., the\nKit Kat Sugar son is out of Just As Reckless LTE $184,285, a full sister to\nWestfall-owned and bred Lil Bit Reckless LTE $231,124.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, in addition to his NCHA Futurity Non-Pro\nco-championship, Brandon Westfall, the NCHA earner of $586,674, also placed\nthird in the Futurity aboard Desires One And Only, won the PCCHA Futurity Non-Pro\n5\/6 Classic with Laguna Girl, and placed in the finals of the NCHA Senior Youth\nScholarship Cutting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexa Dahl, Granbury, Tex., the NCHA earner of $158,036, was\nthe 2019 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Limited reserve champion riding the Smooth As A\nCat daughter Smoothie Lou Who LTE $28,533.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5\/6 Non-Pro Finals<br><\/strong>Todd Quirk, Denham Springs, La., scored 224 points on Reystylin Smooth to win the Bonanza 5\/6 Non-Pro championship. Ali Good, Ringling, Okla., scored 221 on Code Belue for the reserve title, and Paula Wood, Stephenville, Tex., placed third with 217.5 riding Cool N Hot.<br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second 2020 win for Quirk, the NCHA Non-Pro Hall\nof Fame earner of $665,924, and 6-year-old Reystylin Smooth $198,849, by Smooth\nAs A Cat. The pair also won the Ike Hamilton 5\/6 Non-Pro championship with 225\npoints. Last year, Adan Banuelos showed Reystylin Smooth to win the Brazos Bash\nOpen 5\/6 Classic and the West Texas Futurity 5\/6 Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ali Good, the NCHA earner of $366,892, was 2019 NCHA Non-Pro\nWorld Champion, as well as Non-Pro Limited champion of both the NCHA Derby and\nthe Breeders Invitational on Sabrina Boon LTE $72,607. Five-year-old gelding Code\nBelue LTE $64,387, by Cat Belue, is one of 11 NCHA earners out of Duals Play\nKit LTE $235,489, by Dual Kit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paula Wood and 2018 NCHA Open Horse of the Year Cool N Hot\nLTE $364,329, came into the Bonanza off of the 2020 Abilene Spectacular 5\/6\nNon-Pro championship win. Six-year-old Cool N Hot, by Hottish, was bred by Paula\nWood, out of Donas Cool Cat LTE $315,104, who won the 2007 Bonanza 5\/6 Classic\nNon-Pro with Wood. Cool N Hot\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s half-sister, Donas Suen Boon LTE $425,911,\ncarried Wood to win the 2012 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro championship.
