Ted Petit photo.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Julie Beasley, Montgomery, Ala., scored 218 points aboard Count Mee In, \u00c2\u00a0on Thursday, Dec. 5, to top the first day of 2019 NCHA Futurity Amateur and Amateur Limited go-round competition.\u00c2\u00a0Madison Crum and Grace Ornelas, both from Weatherford, Tex., tied with 217 points, the second-highest score of the day, riding Tallic Toy, by Metallic, and Mother Kwacker, by Dual Rey, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Julie Beasley, the NCHA earner of $279,246, has competed in\nNCHA Futurity finals for the past three years, including last year, when she\nplaced in the Non-Pro Finals and the Non-Pro Limited Finals on CR Dualin Out\nTuff LTE $70,239, who also carried her to five 2019 limited age wins, including\nthe Breeders Invitational Amateur Unlimited championship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beasley\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s horse, Count Mee In, bred by Amanda Standish, is a full brother to the earners of $064, including Deluxe Checks LTE $283,156, the 2017 NCHA Open World Champion and World Champion Mare. Catrina Starlight, dam of Count Mee In and Deluxe Checks, is out of 2000 NCHA Futurity champion Stella Starlight LTE $292,408, the dam of earners of over $1.2 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madison Crum, the NCHA earner of $162,720, and the 2016 NCHA\nLimited Age Event Rookie of the Year, has shown in two NCHA Futurity finals.\nMetallix, by Metallic Cat, carried her in the 2016 Amateur Finals, and she\nshowed Reysed Rich, by Dual Rey, in the 2017 Amateur Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During 2019, Crum has competed as a finalist in eight LAE divisions,\nincluding the NCHA Non-Pro Derby and &nbsp;Non-Pro\nLimited, as well as Amateur divisions, on El Doreydo LTE $63,874 and Kual Dual.\nEl Doreydo also carried her as reserve champion of the 2019 Breeders\nInvitational Non-Pro Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tallic Toy, out of Smartlittlelenastoy, is a full sister to Metallictoy\nLTE $96,820 and Toytallic LTE $76,590, as well as a half-sister to Lena On Rey\nLTE $153,634 and Total Reycall LTE $109,710.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Junior Youth rider Grace Ornelas made her entry into major\nevents , when she won the $2,000 Limited Rider class at The Non-Pro in 2013 riding\nReynshine LTE $119,762, by Dual Rey. Reynshine also carried Grace to place third\nin the NCHA Summer Spectacular Junior Youth Cutting and as a finalist in the\n2014 NCHA Eastern Nationals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grace\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Futurity horse, Mother Kwacker, is a half-sister to The Kwack Shack LTE $55,593, out of Kwackin Cat. Kwackin Cat is a full sister by High Brow Cat, to Catting LTE $225,025 and High Brow Kwackin LTE $154,134, as well as half-sister to Smart Crackin Chic LTE $191,375, by Smart Chic Olena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nchacutting.com\/shows\/futurity\">2019 NCHA Futurity<\/a> Amateur and Amateur Unlimited go-rounds continue through Sunday, December 8.
