Mica Chartier, Weatherford, Tex.,\nriding White Lights, by Metallic Cat, tied Cowan with 219 points, for the high\nscore of the second go-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ali Good, Ringling, Okla., earned 434 points, the second-highest cumulative (217.5\/216.5) showing Sabrina Boon, by Boon A Little, while Nadine Payne, Overbrook, Okla., and Traci Shehady, Poolville, Tex., tied with 433.5 points riding Blu Velvet, by Once In A Blue Boon, and A Groovy Kindof Love, by Auspicious Cat, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michelle Cowan, the NCHA Non-Pro earner of $524,600, won the\n2019 Ike Hamilton Futurity Non-Pro Intermediate and placed third in the\nArbuckle Mountain Futurity Non-Pro on Gingrsnap LTE $30,504. Last year, Cowan,\nreserve champion of the 2015 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro on Iridescent Cat, showed\nCatty N Smooth LTE $62,282, by Catty Hawk, to place seventh in the NCHA Super\nStakes Non-Pro. Cowan was also the 2009 NRCHA Derby Non-Pro reserve champion\nriding Wheres My Shine, by Shining Spark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gingrsnap was bred by Center Ranch, out of the Peptoboonsmal\ndaughter Pepto Smoothy LTE $32,306, a half-sister to Light Blue Smoothy LTE\n$94,034, by CD Lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mica Chartier, the NCHA earner of $444,189, showed White Lights in May as a finalist in the NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro Limited, where she also placed fifth with A Little Bossier LTE $42,107, by CD Lights. In 2001, Chartier won the NCHA Derby Amateur riding Starring CD LTE $83,067, by CD Olena, and in 2007, riding SL Jaybird LTE $439,655, Chartier (Motes) won the NCHA Classic Challenge Non-Pro Limited, and followed, in 2008, with the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro championship on SL Jaybird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White Lights LTE $11,649, was bred by Mica and R.L. Chartier\nout of Light Reys LTE $65,194, by CD Lights. Both White Lights and Light Reys\nwere trained by R.L. Chartier, and both Chartiers showed her. White Lights is Light\nReys\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 first money earner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ali Good, the NCHA earner of $260,008, won the 2019 Breeders Invitational Non-Pro Limited showing Sabrina Boon LTE $50,368, who she also showed as a finalist in the NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Limited, as well as a finalist (6th) in the NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro Limited, and as reserve champion of the Augusta Non-Pro 4-Year-Old Futurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good placed third in last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA Derby Non-Pro Limited\nriding the Hottish-sired gelding Sneakish LTE $59,439, who she also showed as\nchampion of the 2017 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Limited. In addition, Good placed\nsecond in last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA World Finals Non-Pro with Cat Atat Cat LTE $202,706\nLTE $202,706, who Good\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s father, Bill Riddle, showed as 2015 NCHA Classic\nChallenge Open reserve champion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nadine Payne, the NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame earner of $605,003, showed Blu Velvet\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s half-brother, Velvets Revolver $271,541, by WR This Cats Smart, to win the 2016 NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro championship and to place third in the 2017 NCHA Classic Challenge Non-Pro. Payne, who won the 2014 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro championship with Great Expectations LTE $62,542, placed fifth in last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA Derby Non-Pro aboard Peaceful EZ Feelin LTE $68,163.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Traci Shehady, the NCHA earner of $216,390, was an NCHA\nClassic Challenge Non-Pro finalist showing You Cant Buy Love LTE $58,145, on\nFriday, July 19, during the Metallic Cat NCHA Summer Spectacular Cutting.
