Jacob Little, Carter, Okla., and Bridget Trenary, Memphis, Tenn., tied with 219 points as Amateur co-champions of the Rios of Mercedes Classic Challenge during the Metallic Cat NCHA Summer Spectacular. Little was riding Bet Hes Amazing, by Bet Hesa Cat, while Trenary was aboard Brenda Rreys, by Dual Rey. Taylor Worley, Newkirk, Okla., riding Blizkat, by Metallic Cat, and Amy Roberts, Canyon, Tex., aboard Timeless Metallic, by Metallic Cat, tied for third and fourth place with 217.5 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jacob Little, the NCHA earner of $54,796, and Bet Hes Amazing LTE $41,939 won the 2018 Brazos Bash 4-Year-Old Amateur; placed as reserve champions in the West Texas Futurity 4-Year-Old Amateur and the Amateur Unlimited; placed third in the Arbuckle Mountain 4-Year-Old Amateur and the Southern Futurity 4-Year-Old Amateur Unlimited; and took fourth and seventh, respectively, in the 4-Year-Old divisions of the Ike Hamilton Futurity and The Non-Pro. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier this year, Little and Bet Hes Amazing, bred and\nowned by Stan and Tani Little, placed eighth in the NCHA Super Stakes 5\/6\nAmateur Unlimited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridget Trenary, the NCHA earner of $79,505, and 5-year-old Brenda\nRreys LTE $43,646 have placed among the top ten finalists of five divisions of four\nmajor events this year, in addition to the Classic Challenge co-championship.\nThey claimed the reserve championship of The Non-Pro Classic Amateur; were\nfourth in the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Amateur; and also placed in the\nBreeders Invitational Amateur and Amateur Unlimited divisions, as well as the\nArbuckle Mountain Classic Amateur Unlimited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trenary\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s first major win came in 2001, when she won the\nMemphis Futurity Amateur championship riding Paddys Jazzy Lena. Brenda Rreys,\nout of Fancy Blue Moon, by Peptoboonsmal, was bred by Bar RR Ranches and is a half-sister\nto Herding Cats LTE $154,888.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taylor Worley, the NCHA earner of $65,797, and Blitzcat LTE $95,045, claimed the reserve championship of the 2018 NCHA Classic Challenge, as well as the Amateur Unlimited championship of the 2018 Cotton Stakes. This year, in addition to the Classic Challenge Amateur reserve title, the pair have won the Breeders Invitational Amateur, placed second in the Ike Hamilton Classic Amateur, and seventh in the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Amateur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blitzkat, bred by Goldwatch Partners out of Suggie Badger,\nby Peppy San Badger, is a half-brother to TRS Travelin Badger LTE $206,397 and Suggies\nTravelin LTE $95,084.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amy Roberts, the NCHA earner of $125,270, was a 2106 NCHA Classic Challenge Amateur finalist (4th) on Rey O Conner LTE $61,111, who she had also shown as reserve champion of the Southern Futurity Classic Amateur Unlimited. In 2017, Roberts and Timeless Metallic LTE $32,816 won the Southern Futurity 4-Year-Old Amateur championship, and placed in the 2018 Abilene Spectacular Classic Amateur and the Brazos Bash Classic Amateur Unlimited.
