Rollz Royce, sired by Dual Smart Rey, owned\nthe Metallic Cat NCHA Classic Challenge Open Finals, following a riveting 229-point\nrun under Beau Galyean, for owner Thomas Guinn, Philadelphia, Miss. Duramax\nDually, shown by Wesley Galyean for the Glover\/Galyean Partnership, Claremore,\nOkla., was reserve champion with 222.5 points, and Hott Heels, under Lloyd Cox\nfor Julie Jarma, Whitesboro, Tex., placed third with 222 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five-year-old Rollz Royce LTE $243,336 came into the Classic\nChallenge following a 228-point win with Galyean in the 2019 NCHA Super Stakes\nClassic. It was his seventh major limited age event win and a personal record.\nThird Cutting, shown by Boyd Rice in 2010, holds the NCHA Classic Challenge\nrecord, with 230 points; Rollz Royce is the fifth horse in the history of the\nevent to score 229 points. Quintan Blue was the first, with Roger Wagner in\n2007, while PG Heavily Armed, under James Payne in 2018; Ichis My Choice, with\nGrant Setnicka in 2017; and Reyzin The Cash, shown by Gary Gonsalves in 2016,\ncomplete the five.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"405\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sallyharrison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Duramax.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16485\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sallyharrison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Duramax.jpg 550w, https:\/\/www.sallyharrison.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Duramax-300x221.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><figcaption>Duramax Dually, ridden by Wesley Galyean. Ted Petit Photography.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Five-year-old Duramax Dually $159,873, by Dual Rey, came into the Classic Challenge off of three 2019 Open limited age event finals performances with Wesley Galyean, and after also claiming the 2019 NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro reserve championship with Kristen Galyean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hott Heels LTE $73,520, a 5-year-old gelding sired by\nHottish, carried owner Julie Jarma this year as a Non-Pro finalist in the NCHA\nSuper Stakes Classic, the Breeders Invitational Classic, and the Bonanza\nClassic. Lloyd Cox also showed Hott Heels as Open reserve champion of the\nBreeders Invitational, and as a finalist in the Bonanza Classic Open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Sundance Jessie, sired by Metallic Cat, and owned\nby Slate River Ranch, Weatherford, Tex., won the $40,000 Metallic Cat Incentive\nwith 219.5 points, under John Mitchell.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>No doubt about it.
