Alannah Chalmers, Weatherford, Tex., and her Metallic Cat daughter, Metallic Made LTE $13,482, scored 221 points on Saturday, April 13, to win the 2019 NCHA Kit Kat Sugar Super Stakes Limited Non-Pro championship. Scott Chartier, Weatherford, Tex., claimed the reserve championship with 218.5 points on Pharrell LTE $17,973, by High Brow Cat, while Jennifer Foland and Jaylee Brown, both of Weatherford, tied for third with 218 points. Foland was riding 2019 Super Stakes Open champion Hiss N Vinegar LTE $157,119, by Dual Smart Rey, and Brown was riding One Time Legend LTE $37,476, by One Time Pepto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alannah Chalmers, the NCHA earner of $160,276, was a 2019\nNCHA Futurity Non-Pro Semi-Finalist riding Metallic Made, a three-quarter\nsister to JJS Catless Merada LTE $172,422, by Cats Merada. Although this is Chalmers\u00e2\u20ac\u2122\nfirst limited age event championship win, she has previously been close. In\n2016, she was reserve champion of the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro and\nplaced fifth in the Non-Pro Limited on Smooth Very Smooth LTE $68,011, by\nSmooth As A Cat. In 2017, she showed Toy Cats LTE $61,735, by Smooth As A Cat, to\nplace seventh in the NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro; also in 2017, she showed Sixes\nBoon, by Boon Too Suen, to place seventh in the Super Stakes Non-Pro Limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to the 2019 NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro Limited, where\nhe earned $8,160 as reserve champion, Scott Chartier claimed his single richest\nlimited age event checks riding Halreyzn Swinger LTE $82,972, by Halreycious as\nreserve champion of the 2016 Non-Pro Cutting Classic and as a finalist in the\n2016 NCHA Classic Challenge Non-Pro. In 2018, Chartier, the NCHA earner of\n$105,556, showed Pharrell as a finalist in the NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Limited,\nand also as an NCHA Futurity Non-Pro Semi-Finalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jennifer Foland, the NCHA earner of $342,164, won the 2010\nNCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro riding Shes Twice As Smooth LTE $191,734, by Smooth\nAs A Cat and placed sixth in the 2016 Super Stakes Non-Pro aboard Hisstereya\nLTE $131,924, a three-quarter sister, by Dual Rey, to Hiss N Vinegar. She also\nplaced in the 2012 NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro Limited riding Shes Twice\nAs Smooth, as well as Cat Nasty LTE $68,102, by Cat T Masterson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hiss N Vinegar, bred by Jeffrey and Jennifer Foland, was shown by Phil Hanson to win the NCHA Super Stakes Open championship<\/a>, and to place seventh in the NCHA Futurity Open Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaylee Brown, the NCHA earner of $154,671, showed One Time Legend LTE $29,554 to win the 2019 Abilene Spectacular Non-Pro championship, and also claimed second-place money in the Bonanza Non-Pro Limited. Between 2014, when she was 16, and 2016, Jaylee showed High Brow CD Deuce, by High Brow CD, to earn over $127,000, as an amateur and non-pro limited event finalist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
