Ali Good, Ringling, Okla., scored 220 points aboard Sneakish\non Wednesday, to top 29 finalists in the NCHA Eastern Nationals $25,000\nNovice\/Non-Pro championship. Kolby Don Moore, Crawford, Fla., claimed the\nreserve championship with 219 points on Highbrow Nadine, while Lauren\nMiddleton, Weatherford, Tex., showed Light Em Upp to score 217 points for\nthird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After winning the 2017 NCHA Futurity Limited Non-Pro championship with 5-year-old Sneakish LTE $44,895, Ali Good and the Hottish-sired son, placed among the top three finalists in four 2018 limited age events, including the NCHA Derby Limited Non-Pro, where they were third. The pair placed third in the 2109 Augusta Futurity Non-Pro finals, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the second $25,000 Novice\/Non-Pro Eastern Nationals championship\nwin for Good, the NCHA earner of $195,858, who claimed the title last year, as\nwell as the Senior Youth championship, riding Cat Atat Cat LTE $173,108, by\nHigh Brow Cat. Additionally, Good and Cat Atat Cat won last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA Western\nNational Non-Pro championship and reserve in the NCHA Non-Pro World Finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kolby Don Moore and 6-year-old Highbrow Nadine LTE $35,898,\nby High Brow CD, made their mark in last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA Eastern Nationals as\nfourth-placed finalists in the Non-Pro division, as well as third-placed finalists\nin the $5,000 Novice\/Non-Pro. Moore also earned significant payouts on Highbrow\nNadine as reserve champion of the Southern Futurity Non-Pro Classic and as sixth-place\nfinalist in the NCHA Classic Challenge Non-Pro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore, the NCHA earner of $103,065, won the 2013 NYCHA\nSenior Youth Finals riding Smart Little Cranbar LTE $75,991, by Smart Little\nLena, after claiming the 2011 NCHA Eastern Nationals $2,000 Limited Rider on\nFMR Smart Duces, by Smart Sugar Badger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren Middleton and 5-year-old Light Em Upp LTE $43,170, by\nLight N Lena, earned their first checks as a team when they placed third in the\n2017 PCCHA Non-Pro Futurity and the 2017 Southern Futurity Non-Pro. In 2018,\nthey claimed their biggest payout in the NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro finals, and\nalso won the Congress Futurity Non-Pro. Earlier this year, the pair placed in\nthe Augusta Futurity Non-Pro Classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Middleton the NCHA earner of $719,699, had shown Light Em\nUpp\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s dam, Widows Tears LTE $92,741, as a Youth finalist in the 2006 NCHA\nEastern Nationals, as well as his half-brother, Spoonful Of Tears LTE $84,608,\nas 2014 NCHA Eastern Nationals $5,000 Novice\/Non-Pro champion, and as reserve\nchampion of the 2014 $15,000 Novice\/Non-Pro. In addition, Middleton won the\n2002 NCHA Eastern National Non-Pro championship aboard Widows Freckles, the\nsire of Widows Tears $113,522, and of Widows Intentions LTE $352,665.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
