Cody Hedlund, Lipan, Tex., placed third with 214 points on Wood Ya Teles. Adams and Smith each earned a payout of $5,941, while Hedlund earned $3,961.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dustin Adams, the NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame earner of $3,890,249, won the inaugural Cattlemen&#8217;s Non-Pro Derby, in 2010, riding KR Winston LTE $51,385, by High Brow Cat. He also won the 2012 NCHA Super Stakes Non-Pro on Hottish LTE $286,109, sire of Hottish For You, who carried Adams to place fifth in the 2019 Abilene Spectacular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adams also placed fourth in the Cattlemen&#8217;s Non-Pro Classic riding One Time Pepto daughter Sly Pepto Girl LTE $88,833, who he showed as reserve champion in the 2019 Bonanza Class Non-Pro, and as a finalist in the Ike Hamilton Non-Pro Classic and the Abilene Spectacular Non-Pro Classic. Hot Sriracha LTE $15,635, by Hottish, has carried Adams as a 4-year-old finalist in three events this year, as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kade Smith and Playboy Bunny LTE $20,686, by Metallic Cat,\nwere ninth-placed finalists in the 2018 NCHA Non-Pro Futurity. Smith, the NCHA\nNon-Pro Hall of Fame earner of $607,829, claimed the 2011 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro\nchampionship with Lean This Rey $128,993, by Dual Rey. The NCHA Futurity win\nwas one among Smith\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s nearly 20 &nbsp;major\nlimited age event championship titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Playboy Bunny, bred by Smith&#8217;s sister, Ashley Snider, out of Taquitas Playgirl, by Freckles Playboy, is a three-quarter brother to Sly Playgirl LTE $332,135, the dam of Dustin Adams\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 2019 Cattlemen&#8217;s Non-Pro Classic mount, Sly Pepto Girl LTE $88,833.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cody Hedlund and his homebred Woody Be Tuff daughter, Wood Ya Teles LTE $21,074, came into the Cattlemen&#8217;s Derby following the Ike Hamilton Derby Non-Pro championship win.
