\nAs the fourth rider in the third round of the Mercuria NCHA Non-Pro World Finals, Mary Ann Rapp and Dont Stopp Believin posted a formidable 226.<\/p>\n

But 19-year-old Ali Good<\/strong> of Ringling, Okla., wasn’t intimidated. She stepped to the herd eight horses later and laid down a 227 to win the round on Cat Atat Cat.<\/p>\n

After her 223.5 win in the first round<\/a>, and her 222.5 for second in the second round, Good is leading the race for the World Finals championship with $16,898 to Lindy Ashlock’s $10,380. In the cumulative score for the non-working finals She has a 673 to 663.5 lead over Ashlock.<\/p>\n

Competition concludes with the fourth round, and the fifth, non-working finals, on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Good, who was co-champion in the Limited Non-Pro at last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s NCHA Futurity on Sneakish, came into the World Finals ranked eighth in the World Standings. She’s now sitting in seventh place in the year-end race.<\/p>\n

Good\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s first major win came in the Junior Youth Scholarship Cutting on Cees Little Poo at the 2010 NCHA Summer Spectacular. With Cat Atat Cat this year, she\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s won the Non-Pro championship at the NCHA Western Nationals, and the $25,000 Novice Non-Pro and Senior Youth titles at the NCHA Eastern Nationals.<\/p>\n

Cat Atat Cat was bred by Glenn and Debbie Drake by High Brow Cat out of Miss Stylish Pepto, The 2010 gelding has earned more than $133,000, ridden by Good, and by her grandfather, Hall of Fame Rider Bill Riddle, in the Open.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
