Mandy Chisum, San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Carly Chiarelli, Poolville, Tex., tied with 219 points, the high score on the first day of the NCHA\/Metallic Cat Summer Spectacular Non-Pro Classic Challenge go-rounds. E.J. Huntley, Houston, Tex., and Stacie McDavid, Forth Worth, Tex., tied with 218.5 points, the day\u2019s second-highest score. Carly Chiarelli also topped the Limited Non-Pro entrants.<\/p>\n

Mandy Chisum, the NCHA earner of $403,772, and Magic Metalman LTE $122,043, most recently placed fourth in the PCCHA Derby NCHA\/Mercuria World Series and the 2018 Breeders Invitational 5\/6 Non-Pro finals; in 2017 the pair were reserve champions of the PCCHA Futurity 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic.<\/p>\n

Chisum\u2019s championship wins include the 2017 Ike Hamilton Futurity 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic on Cats Double Down, as well as the 2013 Tunica 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic, Breeders Invitational 5\/6 Amateur Unlimited, and Breeders Invitational 5\/6 Non-Pro Limited on Woodys Wildest Cat.<\/p>\n

Magic Metalman, a 6-year-old gelding sired by Metallic Cat, is a brother to 2017 NCHA Hall of Fame Open Horse Metallic Rebel LTE $411,837, as well as to Magistic Moon LTE $187,608, Magic Metallic LTE $149,428, and Sweet Metallic LTE $130,962, all also by Metallic Cat. Their dam, Sweet Abra LTE $117,725, is the dam of 12 NCHA earners of $1,077,468.<\/p>\n

Carly Chirarelli, the NCHA earner of $276,700, and Olive Martini LTE $86,042, won the 2018 Cattlemen’s 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic Non-Pro Limited championship and the reserve championship of the 2018 Breeders Invitational 5\/6 Non-Pro Limited Classic. They also placed fourth in the 2018 Cattlemen’s 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic; ninth in Breeders Invitational 5\/6 Non-Pro Classic; fourth in the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro Limited; and ninth in the NCHA Super Stakes Classic Non-Pro.<\/p>\n

Chirarelli also won the 2009 NCHA Classic Challenge Challenge Amateur championship on Lil Peppys Advantage LTE $130,973.<\/p>\n

Olive Martini, a 5-year-old daughter of Metallic Cat, is out of Martinis Miss Peppy LTE $246,925, half-sister to Miss Martini Play LTE $89,418, dam of earners of $1,102,410, including two NCHA Hall of Fame horses – Copaspepto LTE $416,882 and Stylish Martini LTE $361,920.<\/p>\n

E.J. Huntley, the NCHA earner of $373,573, won the 2017 Cattlemen’s Derby Non-Pro championship and, most recently, the 2018 Cattlemen’s 5\/6 Classic Non-Pro Gelding division on HR Cats Starlight LTE $171,504.<\/p>\n

Ripping Ichi LTE $138,610, a 6-year-old gelding sired by Cat Ichi, has won or placed in over 24 open and non-pro limited event working finals. His biggest paycheck came as reserve champion of the 2016 Southern Futurity Open with James Payne.<\/p>\n

Stacie McDavid, the NCHA Hall of Fame Non-Pro earner of $962,116, showed DMAC Piccolo Pete as Non-Pro reserve champion of the 2017 Ike Hamilton Futurity, as well as champion of the 2018 Bonanza 5\/6 Amateur Unlimited and reserve champion of the 2018 Breeders Inviational Amateur Unlimited.<\/p>\n

Five-year-old DMAC Piccolo Pete LTE $122,295, a daughter of WR This Cats Smart, is out of Cherry Chex Dually LTE $230,488, the dam of three NCHA earners of $235,796.<\/p>\n
