Just two weeks ago, Galyean won the Augusta Non-Pro Futurity<\/a> on Missing Addition and placed third in the Western Horseman Non-Pro Cup riding Shes Icing Onthe Cat, who is still in contention in the Memphis Non-Pro Futurity. He also won the Abilene Spectacular Non-Pro Classic<\/a> with Spots Hot. This year, in six weeks of limited age event competition, Galyean has already earned $84,233.<\/p>\n With the Memphis Non-Pro Classic win, Spots Hot, who Gaylean trained himself and rode as champion of the 2004 NCHA Open Futurity, has lifetime earnings of more than $450,000, which ranks him among cutting’s all-time leading money earners. His earnings record is all the more impressive because Galyean is restricted from showing in the open division (NCHA rules impose an earnings cap for non-pros who show in open competition).<\/p>\n In addition to his show schedule, Spots Hot is also serving a full book of mares at EE Ranches Stallion Station, Whitesboro, TX.<\/p>\n The Memphis Non-Pro Classic was especially lucrative for Elizabeth Queen, Lipan, TX, and her husband Skip. While Elizabeth claimed $13,677 as reserve champion, Skip earned a total of $14,177 on three mounts – Rockin N Playing (9th), Glows (10-12), and Sister CD (10-12).
