Hart Photography.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Kylie Rice, Weatherford, Tex., and Lindy Ashlock, Abilene, Tex., tied with 219 points on Monday, the last day of NCHA Futurity Non-Pro first round competition, to share the second-highest score for the go-round with earlier days&#8217; high scoring riders <a href=\"?p=14198\">Megan Miller<\/a> and <a href=\"?p=14208\">Lance Cooper<\/a>. Kristen Galyean, Claremore, Okla., and Ryan Rapp, Weatherford, Tex.,each \u00a0earned 216.5 points, the day\u2019s third-highest score. <a href=\"?p=14225\">Armando Costa Neto<\/a>, who showed Rosita Bela on Sunday, scored 220 points to top the go-round.<\/p>\n<p>Rice showed the Woody Be Tuff daughter Fadie Lou, a full sister to CR Tuff Lucy LTE $354,635, out of Lucindas Catolena LTE $170,241, by High Brow Cat. CR Tuff Lucy was shown by Kylie\u2019s brother-in-law, trainer Tarin Rice, to place fourth in the 2014 NCHA Futurity and reserve in the 2015 NCHA Derby.<\/p>\n<p>Kylie Rice, the NCHA earner of $406,819, placed tenth in the 2014 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro aboard Master Mate, and won the 2013 Mercuria NCHA World Finals with Dual Lights LTE $156,645, by CD Lights.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Rice\u2019s presence has been felt on the Mercuria NCHA World Series circuit, where she showed Snap Crackle Cat LTE $189,856, by High Brow Cat, as reserve champion of the Idaho event, and placed third at the PCCHA Derby World Series, as well as the World Series Mane Event.<\/p>\n<p>Lindy Ashlock will be honored as the owner and rider of In Reyverse $87,653, the 2017 NCHA Non-Pro Horse of the Year, on Wednesday evening, December 6, during Western Bloodstock\u2019s Select Yearling Sale and Gala. Ashlock and her 4-year-old Dual Rey gelding claimed Non-Pro championships this year in the NCHA Super Stakes, the El Rancho Futurity and the PCCHA Derby, as well as reserve at Arbuckle Mountain.<\/p>\n<p>High Time Pepto, Ashlock\u2019s 2017 NCHA Futurity Non-Pro mount, is by One Time Pepto and out of High Brow Queen LTE $81,214, by High Brow Cat. Ashlock, a member of the NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame, is the earner of $1,440,766.<\/p>\n<p>Kristen Galyean, an NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame member and earner of $664,440, showed Metallic Mania, a red roan gelding sired by Metallic Cat and purchased by her husband, NCHA Hall of Fame trainer Wesley Galyean, at the 2015 NCHA Futurity Sales.
