It was the second time the 5-year-old gelding has claimed double titles at the same event. Last year, he won the NCHA Non-Pro Super Stakes for Queen and was NCHA Super Stakes Open Gelding with Hansma.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He&#8217;s a good individual,&#8221; said Hansma of Sister CD, who has earned over $350,000 in the past 12 months, including $52,500 at Augusta. &#8220;What&#8217;s fun is that he is Bar H bred and raised.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Sister CD is by CD Olena out of Little Baby Sister, by Dual Pep. CD Olena and Dual Pep, both ranked high on the list of cutting&#8217;s all-time leading sires, are owned by Bar H Ranche, Weatherford, TX, managed by Paul Hansma.<\/p>\n<p>Queen had qualified with Sister CD for the Western Horseman Non-Pro Cup, but opted to ride Rockin N Playing, after his 227-point win Thursday on Sister CD. &#8220;He&#8217;s a real physical little horse and doubling up takes a toll on them,&#8221; he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Queen was non-pro reserve champion at last year&#8217;s Augusta Futurity on Sister CD, following Hansma&#8217;s win on the horse in the Abilene Spectacular. Two weeks ago, Queen and Sister CD took the non-pro reserve title in the Abilene Spectacular Classic.<\/p>\n<p>Hansma&#8217;s wife Julie was reserve champion of the Western Horseman Non-Pro Cup with 219.5 points on Bob Dualin, by Dual Pep; high school senior Cole Rothwell, Abilene, TX, claimed the championship with 221.5 on Peppys Stylish Lena, by Docs Stylish Oak.
