Ted Petit photos.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Donna Flanigan, Livermore, Calif., scored 221 points Tuesday on Too Kool to claim the championship of the NCHA Scottsdale Nationals $25,000 Novice Non-Pro. Janice Eaton, Peachland, British Columbia, Can, and Scootin Solano took reserve with 220 points, while Ken Schultz, Sacrameto, Calif., placed third with 216.5 points riding Reys Of Starlight.<\/p>\n<p>Donna Flanigan, the NCHA earner of $246,974, bred Too Kool LTE $39,598, by WR This Cats Smart, out of a Grays Starlight granddaughter, who produced one other NCHA money earner, Too Kool&#8217;s 2007 full sister, This Kats Kool LTE $180,219. Flanigan showed This Kats Kool to place third in the 2011 Pacific Coast 4-Year-Old Futurity Non-Pro and as champion of of reserve in 11 other non-pro limited age events.<\/p>\n<p>Flanigan&#8217;s most significant win on Too Kool came as 2015 Non-Pro 4-Year-Old Champion of the Pacific Coast Winter Roundup. Ten-year-old Scootin Solano LTE $194,326, by Smart Lil Scoot, was shown for Eaton to place fourth in the NCHA Scottsdale Nationals Open Finals, as well.<\/p>\n<p>In third, Ken Schultz, NCHA lifetime earner of $177,994, cashed his first big check in the 1993 NCHA Futurity, when he placed third on Bob Acre Oak.
