Reyzin and Phil Rapp marked 231 Saturday to win the fourth round and the Mercuria NCHA World Finals Open championship in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

A Little Bossy and R.L. Chartier took the World Championship, while NRR Cat King Cole, ridden by Tracy Barton, is the Reserve World Champion.<\/p>\n

Reyzin, owned by Lori and Bobby Gale of Conway, South Carolina, strung together scores of 219, 221, 224.5 and 231 for the top total of 895.5. That gave earnings of $18,346 to win the World Finals title by $121 over Ichis My Choice, ridden by Grant Setnicka for J5 Horse Ranch. She finished sixth in the year-end standings.<\/p>\n

Bred by Phil and Mary Ann Rapp, Reyzin is a 7-year-old mare by High Brow CD out of Miss Reycine. She was Non-Pro Horse of the Year in 2013 and has now earned $396,000.<\/p>\n

A Little Bossy earned $98,246 for the year to earn his World Championship. The 11-year-old gelding is ridden by R.L. Chartier for Gary and Karen Fields of Weatherford, Texas. He’s by CD Lights out of the Smart Little Lena mare Pistol Smart, and he’ll be inducted into the NCHA Hall of Fame at the Convention next June.<\/p>\n

Chartier’s rivals in the World Finals included his brother, Cullen, on Little Pepto Cat, and their father, Randy, on Cat Black I.<\/p>\n

A Little Bossy went over $400,000 in earnings at the Mercuria NCHA World Finals. R.L. Chartier, an NCHA Hall of Fame Rider, has earned more than $1.7 million.<\/p>\n

Reserve World Champion and Champion Stallion NRR Cat King Cole is a High Brow Cat son owned by North Ridge Ranch and ridden by Tracy Barton.<\/p>\n

The World Champion Mare is Paula Wood’s Donas Suen Boon, by Boon Too Suen, trained by Kobie Wood. Donas Suen Boon finished fourth in the World Standings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
