My Little Denver sold for $120,000 Friday.

The Preferred Breeders Sale Session III, on Friday, Dec. 13, the next-to-last day of the 2019 NCHA Futurity Sales schedule, saw an impressive peak of 90% for completed sales and a high of $120,000 on a yearling Metallic Cat filly consigned by Fults Ranch, Ltd.

My Little Denver, by Metallic Cat, is a three-quarter sister to 2016 NCHA Horse of the Year Ichis My Choice LTE $425,517, the dam of 4-year-old Sueper Trouper LTE $202,138. Sweet Abra, the daughter of second dam The Better Choice, produced 2017 NCHA Horse of the Year Metallic Rebel LTE $438,266.

My Little Denver, a bay roan filly, was purchased by Curtis Weeks, Cotulla, Tex.

Haywood Bartlett, consigned by Rockin 5 Ranch, LLC, was the day’s high-selling yearling colt. The High Brow Cat son, out of 2010 NCHA Super Stakes Open champion Reys Desire LTE $409,603, sold to Kristin Omvig, Kalispell, Mont., for $67,000.

Six-year-old SVR Look Cat Me, consigned by Wrigley Ranches, LLC, was the high-selling mare at $67,000. A daughter of The Smart Look, an all-time leading producer of earners of over $1.9 million, SVR Look Cat Me sold to Mark Cross, Davenport, Iowa, with two embryos due in 2020 by Dual Rey.
