Western Bloodstock NCHA Sales continued strong on Friday, December 11 with the Preferred Breeders Sale Session II.

At $95,000, six-year-old Reyhanna LTE $147,787, with an embryo by Metallic Cat, was the day’s high seller. The Dual Rey daughter, in training with Tatum Rice, was consigned by Kevin and Sydney Knight and purchased by John Kennedy, Sundance, Wyo.

Bet Twice 002, with two embryos, one by Metallic Cat and one by Smooth As A Cat, commanded $86,500, the day’s second-highest price. Consigned by Oxbow Ranch and purchased by Neidhart Cutting Horses, Weatherford, Tex., Bet Twice 002 is a full sister to Bet Yer Boons LTE $73,000 and half-sister to Bet Hesa Cat LTE $267,465, 2011 NCHA World Champion.

The dam of Bet Twice 002, Bet Yer Blue Boons LTE $350,615, was 2000 NCHA World Champion and is also the dam of 2015 NCHA Futurity Open Finalist Bet Shes Smooth, shown by Lindy Burch, who also trained and showed Bet Yer Blue Boons.

One Alley Cat, at $67,000, was the high-selling yearling of the day, as well as the high-selling stallion. The High Brow Cat son out of Nod N Smile Baby, by One Time Pepto, was consigned by his breeder, Matthews Cutting Horses LLC, and purchased by Hayden Upton, Weatherford, Tex.

Shimmering Rey, at $60,000, was the high-selling yearling filly. Consigned by Linda Holmes and Jeff Oswood and purchased by Lisa Kruse, Celina, Tex., Shimmering Rey is by Dual Rey and out of Shes Icing Onthe Cat LTE $249,884, by High Brow Cat.

Lisa Kruse also paid $55,000 for the yearling filly Twiced Bet, consigned by Oxbow Ranch. Twiced Bet is sired by High Brow Cat out of Bet Twice 002.
